About the Role

BSI America Professional Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Environmental (EHS) professional to join our team. As an EHS Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients and their employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with laboratory inspections and investigations to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
  • Develop and implement effective safety and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for improving safety and environmental performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety and environmental procedures and protocols.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or EHS-related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in EHS, preferably in a laboratory setting.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards, including OSHA and EPA requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
