Job Summary

CareerStaff Unlimited is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a reputable Skilled Nursing Facility in Sinking Spring, PA. As a valued member of our care team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our facility.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
  • Provide nursing functions as directed by supervisor, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Prepare residents for meals and snacks, and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Maintain resident confidentiality and treat residents with kindness, dignity, and respect.
  • Utilize nursing knowledge and skills to implement basic preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitative nursing care.
  • Perform delegated independent nursing functions using established procedures, policies, and guidelines.
  • Assist in data collection and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
  • Carry out physician orders accurately and safely.
  • Document pertinent observations and interventions in the medical record.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a nationally approved Nursing program.
  • Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Maintain current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC).
