Key Responsibilities

  • Assist elderly patients or those recuperating from medical procedures with personal hygiene needs, including bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Support clients in adhering to prescribed medication regimens and aid with mobility.
  • Facilitate transportation for clients to appointments or outings.
  • Provide assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and physical therapy exercises.
  • Accompany clients during shopping trips or manage their shopping needs.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks and report any unusual occurrences.
  • Respond promptly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Engage clients in essential daily activities, including meal assistance.

Required Qualifications

  • Enjoy working in a one-on-one environment, with a desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to the role.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and reliable daily transportation.
  • Demonstrated compassion and supportiveness in interactions.
  • Availability for various shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care settings.
  • Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or completion of a CNA Program.
  • Take pride in delivering high-quality care.
  • Experience with Hoyer Lifts, as applicable to client needs.
