Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist in administrative efficiencies through the medical service areas, ensuring thorough open communication with the pharmacy regarding medications and medical needs for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• On-site medical observation, monitoring, and client service.
• Assure thorough open communication with the pharmacy regarding medications and medical needs for clients.
• Work with clinical, medical, and administrative staff to ensure quality service for clients and maintain a high level of professionalism in all areas of The Last Resort.
• Communicate with clinical, medical, and administrative staff regarding client disorders, issues, or concerns.
• Adhere to all facility, State, and Federal policy and procedure concerning client confidentiality, rights, and anonymity.
• Maintain appropriate boundaries and ethical behavior at all times with clients, families, referents, and other professionals.
• Participate in staff meetings as needed.
• Complete evaluations and reports.
• Use clear communication with supervisors and co-workers.
• Follow all policies and procedures of The Last Resort.
• Provide services planned to restore clients to optimum social and health adjustment.
• Ensure safe employee practices at all times.
• Perform the nursing assessment or delegation of the assessment at time of an admission into services, provide review to all documents in nursing prevue requiring a nurse manager review.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to navigate a computer and use basic software.

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. A neat and clean appearance is expected.
