Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team at New Horizon Counseling Center. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with clients living with serious mental health conditions who are homeless or temporarily housed in a Queens mental health shelter.

Your primary responsibility will be to assess and monitor clients' clinical health and response to treatment. You will guide the development of policies and procedures, conduct psychiatric and physical health assessments, provide medication management, and administer IMs and vaccines as needed. Additionally, you will supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and contribute to the overall success of our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing, experience working with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI), co-occurring disorders, and familiarity with DHS programs. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required, and licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State is essential.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $83,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
