You will serve as a Painter Leader in the Lifting and Handling Department at PSNS and IMF. This role is responsible for ensuring that work permits, system tag outs, work instructions, drawings, materials, and special tooling are available on the job site when needed.

• Assure that the latest work processes and procedures are followed.
• Conduct routine inspections of work in progress and audits to ensure compliance with work procedures.
• Determine progress and status of work, estimating completion and informing the immediate supervisor.
• Ensure that safety and housekeeping rules are followed.
• Coordinate the work of co-workers and assist trades to meet event schedules.

Although a specific length of time and experience is not required, you must demonstrate through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position.
