Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage ranging from $27.84 to $45.46 based on prior experience.
- Evening shift differential of $2.50 per hour.
- Night shift differential of $3.00 per hour.

Our facilities feature multiple operating rooms equipped for a variety of surgical services. Our nursing staff exemplifies professionalism, teamwork, independence, and critical thinking. We provide a thorough 16-week orientation program for new nurses, pairing them with dedicated preceptors to gain hands-on experience across all surgical specialties. Key ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions of the Registered Nurse include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary health teams, assessing patient needs, analyzing data, setting care objectives, planning care strategies, prioritizing interventions, implementing care plans, delegating tasks safely, providing both direct and indirect nursing care, evaluating patient responses to interventions, and performing additional nursing duties as per acquired knowledge and skills.
- Preparing and delivering personalized peri-operative care utilizing the nursing process.
- Overseeing the surgical department staff in the management of surgical patients.
- Providing care for patients across all age groups, from infants to the elderly.
Education
- A Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is preferred.
Experience
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
(The above qualifications may be satisfied through a combination of education and experience).
Additional Skills and Abilities
- New graduates must complete the Nurse Residency Program offered by Norman Regional.
Licensure and Certification
- A current Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory during orientation before patient care responsibilities begin.
- Ongoing maintenance of current BLS certification is required throughout employment.
