We are seeking a skilled nurse with a strong background in circulating or scrub roles to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Job Overview:

This position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center. As a circulating nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition of patients through the surgical process, from preparation to recovery. Your expertise in patient safety, efficient workflow, and effective communication will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the instrument and equipment set-up for each OR, utilizing preference cards and anticipating surgeons' needs
  • Coordinate and oversee your room during a case as the circulator, facilitating effective and efficient transitions between procedures
  • Utilize appropriate body mechanics in moving patients to stretchers and OR tables, preventing injury
  • Manage patient care and medication, including assistance with anesthesia
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
  • Active RN license as required by state of employment or appropriate compact licensure
  • Valid BCLS Certification upon employment
  • ACLS as required by facility
