Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiation Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and treatment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiation therapy and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Perform radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
  • Conduct treatment simulations as indicated by the radiation oncologist.
  • Accurately document the patient treatment process.
  • Register patient films for physician review.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a JCERT accredited Radiation Therapy program.
  • Registered, or registry eligible, radiation therapist licensure granted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
  • ARRT licensure must be up to date and in good standing.
  • BLS for Healthcare certified.

  • Patient Care.
  • Radiation Physics Proficiency.
  • Problem Solving/Analysis.
  • Technical Proficiency.
  • Communication Proficiency.
  • Personal Effectiveness/Credibility.
  • Time Management.
  • EMR/Excel/Word/Introductory IT Skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to remain upright on the feet most of the time.
  • Ability to communicate, distinguish sounds, and visualize.
  • Regular manual dexterity.
