CNC Machinist

RBC Bearings is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our team. As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality parts, setting up and loading raw materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

• Operate CNC Lathes: Use CNC lathes to produce high-quality parts, following established manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Set Up and Load Raw Materials: Set up and load raw materials into bar feeders and chucks, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
• Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Shop Floor Supervisor and Engineering Team: Communicate with the shop floor supervisor and engineering team on opportunities for process improvements or changes.
• Perform Basic Preventative Maintenance Tasks: Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in the respective QMS forms and in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.

• Experience with CNC Operations: 1+ years of experience with CNC operations in a machine shop or similar environment.
• Ability to Read and Understand Manufacturing Routers and Control Plans: Ability to read and understand manufacturing routers and control plans.
• Ability to Read Manufacturing Prints and Understand GD&T: Ability to read manufacturing prints and understand GD&T.
• Ability to Read, Understand, and Edit G and M Code for CNC Equipment: Ability to read, understand, and edit G and M code for CNC equipment.
