Senior RF/Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Designer

Job Opportunity
MediaTek is seeking a highly skilled researcher to drive the development of next-generation energy-efficient circuits and systems for communication and computing areas. In this role, you will work on identifying new and novel fundamental technologies, leading a virtual team to develop key IPs and prototypes, and helping to bring them into production.
The ideal candidate is open-minded, forward-looking, and balanced with practicality. Experience in related areas, including Ph.D. works, is needed. Familiarity with design and production in nano-meter CMOS technology and experience in designing substantial parts of wireless or wireline transceivers are required.
You must be well organized and detail-oriented. Good interpersonal and communication skills are critical. Within your capacity, you will have total accountability and ownership of tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Explore technology and market opportunities for the next 4-10 years
- Pioneer unconventional and ahead-of-academic-research architecture, circuits, algorithms, and systems that can ramp to production in a few years
- Work on the feasibility of new fundamental IPs, test strategies, test setup, package-level integration, PCB, and characterizations
- Manage and lead virtual teams for new technology development
- Set and maintain detailed technical specifications and schedules
- Present works to both inside and outside the company
- Support functional teams to bring new technology to production
- Work with business units to roll out products with new technology
- Engage and coordinate with university research for advanced technology development
