Job Summary:The Perioperative Service Coordinator RN will be responsible for initiating and supporting work efforts that maximize quality, safety, and services in defined perioperative specialties. This role will assist with procedures and anesthesia, coordinate the ordering and securing of supplies, equipment, and instruments on behalf of providers, and provide clinical education to team members.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in a perioperative environment
- Initiate and support work efforts that maximize quality, safety, and services in defined perioperative specialties
- Assist with procedures and anesthesia
- Coordinate the ordering and securing of supplies, equipment, and instruments on behalf of providers
- Provide clinical education to team members
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required
- Two (2) years of perioperative (OR Nurse) clinical experience and three (3) years nursing experience for a total of five (5) years of required experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at the time of hire
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Colorado required
