Position Summary
The Clinical Manager will report to the Emergency Director of Patient Care Services/Shift Manager. This role is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and delivering high-quality, individualized patient care through the nursing process.
Qualifications
Education: Must have graduated from an accredited Nursing School.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Emergency Department, including time in a Charge Nurse or Shift Manager role.
Licenses/Certifications: Must maintain current credentials, including:
- California RN license
- ACLS and PALS certifications
- TNCC and ENPC certifications
- MICN certification
- NIHSS certification
- CEN preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk frequently.
- Capable of lifting and positioning up to 50 lbs.
- Requires manual dexterity and mobility.
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
Working Conditions:
- Regular exposure to infectious and hazardous materials.
- Subject to unpredictable and emergency situations.
- Occasional exposure to unpleasant elements.
- May require irregular hours and handling multiple inquiries.
Compensation: Pay range is $104.52 per hour, with individual wages determined by qualifications and experience.
