Position Overview: The Sales Route Specialist is tasked with delivering exceptional service to our clientele by ensuring their product needs are met and deliveries are executed as planned.

This role involves the sale and distribution of coffee, tea, and related products, with a focus on expanding sales within established customer accounts, introducing new product categories, and maintaining customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve the designated revenue targets for the route by enhancing product offerings and categories to current customers, implementing pricing strategies, and ensuring customer retention.
  • Guarantee timely delivery and service to customers as required.
  • Engage in all regional and corporate promotional activities.
  • Increase Revenue per Stop by identifying and addressing distribution gaps for core products, executing seasonal promotions, implementing pricing strategies, and maintaining beverage stations to company standards.
  • Deliver, restock, and rotate beverage station products during each visit.
  • Ensure that equipment is clean and operational, conducting at least one Cup Quality Check (CQC) daily.
  • Follow the Farmer Brothers Sales Methodology, summarizing all services provided to the customer and presenting initiatives for business growth.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage daily invoices, inventory, and collections.
  • Focus on retaining existing customers through outstanding service and relationship building.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of route delivery experience in a related customer service or business-to-business environment.
  • Prior experience in the foodservice industry is preferred.
  • Must successfully complete a DOT physical and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
