The Clinical Assistant Professor of Management is a non-tenure track position at Missouri State University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate-level entertainment/sport management courses, as well as supporting the success of the Entertainment Management Association and serving as an ex officio member of the Entertainment Management (Alumni) Advisory Council.
Key Responsibilities- Teach 12 hours per semester (four courses) of undergraduate-level entertainment/sport management courses.
- Support the success of the Entertainment Management Association.
- Serve as an ex officio member of the Entertainment Management (Alumni) Advisory Council.
- Meet university service requirements.
The minimum acceptable qualifications for the Clinical Assistant Professor rank are determined by the department and approved by the Dean and the Provost. Clinical Faculty must be qualified as defined by professional/discipline standards, have practical experience appropriate for the responsibilities assigned, and must maintain appropriate professional credentials.
Preferred Qualifications- A doctorate in entertainment/sport management, management, business administration, or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited institution.
- A master's degree in business from an AACSB-accredited institution and 6+ years of significant experience including leadership role(s) in the entertainment/sport industry or a closely related field.
