About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develop a plan of care based on diagnosis.
  • Direct respiratory staff for delivery of care and implement and monitor patient care plans.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Perform advanced respiratory care modalities and evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families about the illness and provide information about community support groups and other available programs.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Ohio Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) Board licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
  • Prior experience in critical care preferred, with neonatal/pediatric experience preferred when appropriate for site.
