About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Roper St. Francis Healthcare. As a key member of our Radiology Services Ancillary team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radionuclide therapy and prepare, perform QC, and dispense radiopharmaceuticals for off-hour procedures.
  • Perform urgent Nuclear Medicine procedures in an on-call status or in a single technologist staffing model.
  • Check orders for complete information and proper exam, and schedule exams as needed.
  • Obtain sufficient information to determine whether the exam should be performed immediately or within a specific time frame.
  • Adhere to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) is required.
  • State licensure is preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed.
  • BLS Basic Life Support, American Heart Association is required at hire for Roper St Francis Healthcare locations.
