Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computed Tomography Technologist II to join our team at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine to complex diagnostic CT procedures, including common and special CT exams of high difficulty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including CT scans, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients for optimal imaging, taking into account their comfort and safety.
  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to ensure proper function and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, adhering to radiation safety standards and guidelines.
  • Mentor and educate CT Technologist I and students to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient care and imaging outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • ARRT-R certification and CT registry.
  • Three years of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
