About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Even Hotel Waco - University Area, an IHG Hotel. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and systems to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Make records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Take additional maintenance requests as assigned and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to minimize safety risks and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
  • Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques.

What We Offer:

$13 - $15 an hour, depending on experience.
