Job Title: Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health Unit

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our client's Behavioral Health Unit in Elko, NV.

Job Summary:

Primary responsibilities include providing direct and individualized care to patients, including:

  • Performing plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment.
  • Documenting patient care given.
  • Monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Assisting patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Collaborating as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluating learning needs of patient and/or family and providing patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Working as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $63,000 to $80,000, a negotiable signing bonus with a 36-month retention agreement, a partial relocation package, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans, a retirement savings plan with company match, and generous paid time off (PTO) and vacation schedule.
