Position Overview

The Surveillance Agent is responsible for overseeing surveillance systems to safeguard the assets and interests of Chinook Winds Casino Resort while ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold confidentiality regarding all matters related to the Casino, Surveillance Department, and Tribal affairs.
  • Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of applicable regulatory standards.
  • Gather and disseminate sensitive information appropriately.
  • Recognize and report any issues concerning laws and regulations.
  • Observe casino premises to protect assets and interests effectively.
  • Support investigations, audits, and reviews as necessary.
  • Compile reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Detect equipment malfunctions and execute necessary repairs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Age Requirement

Applicants must be at least 21 years old.

Essential Skills

Strong communication, organizational, time management, accuracy, analytical, and mathematical skills are essential.

Educational Background

A High School Diploma is required.

Professional Experience

A minimum of one year of experience in Gaming, Loss Prevention, or Law Enforcement is preferred.

Technical Proficiency

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary.

Licenses & Certifications

A Siletz Tribal Gaming License is mandatory.

Additional Requirements

Must be available to work various shifts, continue training, and adhere to gambling restrictions.

Physical Requirements

The role involves various physical activities, including lifting, walking, and handling equipment.

Work Environment

Employees will work in a dynamic gaming atmosphere characterized by moderate to loud noise levels and occasional exposure to smoke.

Employment Conditions

Successful candidates must pass pre-employment screenings and complete an introductory period.
