Job Summary

The CDL A Driver/Operator is a critical role within Shamrock Environmental, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. This position requires a high level of physical activity, manual labor skills, and a strong commitment to environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate commercial motor vehicles, including box trucks, vacuum trucks, tankers, roll-off trucks, and front-end loaders, to transport waste and materials to and from customer sites.
  • Perform manual labor tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and moving heavy equipment and materials, to support projects and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, inspected, and equipped with necessary safety equipment and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including e-logs, safety reports, expense reports, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with customers and colleagues to establish and maintain positive working relationships and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to safe driving, hazardous materials handling, and environmental responsibility.
Requirements
  • Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements required.
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Physical ability to lift 50-75 pounds and perform manual labor tasks.
  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and work at heights up to 18 feet.
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations.
  • Availability to work weekends and after regular hours as needed.
  • Ability to travel overnight as required.
