We are seeking a dedicated Youth Care Specialist to join our team at Heartland Human Care Services. This role is responsible for providing direct care, supervision, and support to ensure the safety and well-being of youth in our SAFEty program.
Key Responsibilities- Modify attitudes and patterns of behavior by increasing understanding of self, personal strengths, and challenges.
- Supervise and ensure the safety of youth in the milieu during assigned shifts.
- Maintain established program staff-to-participant ratios within the program and during off-site activities.
- Provide transportation for participants as necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent degree.
- Minimum one year experience with youth in case work, human services, or related fields.
- CPI and CPR Certification required.
- Estimated salary range: $40,000 - $55,000 per annum.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) match, paid maternity and paternity leave, commuter benefits, and more.
This role requires flexibility in regards to scheduling and work location. Program sites are located throughout the Chicago area, including the North and South sides of Chicago, as well as the suburbs.
