We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide high-quality speech therapy services to students with communication disorders in a school setting in San Bruno, California.
Responsibilities:- Deliver direct speech therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Implement therapy plans developed by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist
- Document student progress and communicate with supervising SLP, school staff, and parents
- Collaborate with school staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom instruction
- Attend IEP meetings and assist in developing individualized education plans
- Associate's degree in speech-language pathology or related field
- Valid CA SLPA license or ability to obtain one
- Experience working with children in a school or clinical setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with common speech and language disorders and treatment approaches
