Occupational Therapist Assistant

Your Tailor Made Senior Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors in need of occupational therapy services.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist Assistant who can provide high-quality care to patients in their homes, promoting independence and enhancing their overall well-being.
Responsibilities- Direct Patient Care: Provide occupational therapy services and procedures in compliance with laws and regulations, ensuring exceptional patient outcomes.
- Treatment Planning: Assist in developing treatment plans, implementing routine functions, documenting progress, and modifying treatments as needed.
- Supervision and Leadership: None required; however, we expect you to take initiative and lead by example.
- Customer Evaluation and Assessment: Evaluate patients to determine their needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Prosthetics and Equipment: Recommend, apply, and educate patients on prosthetic devices, supportive equipment, and other aids as necessary.
- Documentation and Billing: Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including assessments, plan of care, progress notes, discharge summaries, and charges for evaluation and treatment.
- Caseload Management: Schedule and manage assigned caseloads consistent with department productivity standards.
- Communication and Collaboration: Inform supervisors of any issues related to patient care or caseload volume.
- Education and Experience: Associate degree or certification from an occupational therapy program with course study in anatomy, physiology, psychology, and clinical experience.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent customer service and patient care skills, basic understanding of occupational therapy and medical terminology.
We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a dynamic work environment.
