Job Summary:
As a key member of our housekeeping team, the Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our hotel rooms and public areas. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular inspections of hotel rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and lobbies to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
• Train and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure they understand our expectations and can deliver exceptional results.
• Assign and direct work to ensure efficient use of resources and effective completion of tasks.
• Identify and address any issues or concerns raised by guests or staff, and implement solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and staff performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching to improve performance.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and front office, to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving.
Requirements:
• 1 year of housekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and move around the hotel with ease.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use software applications relevant to the role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
