About the Role:

As a Nurse Specialist in our Intensive Care Unit Transition program, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals transitioning from critical care to general medical-surgical units.

You will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and treating patients in this specialized setting, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing specialized nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical-surgical units
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient progress and communicating effectively with healthcare team members
  • Administering medications, performing procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Educating patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques

Required Qualifications:

  • Current RN license
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Two years of recent experience in Step Down or Intensive Care Units
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
