Join Our Team as a Part-Time Early Childhood Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time early childhood teacher to join our team at Gallup's Child Development Center (CDC). As a part-time early childhood teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children and their families.

About the Role

We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about creating a fun and engaging learning environment that fosters social development and a love for learning in young children. As a part-time early childhood teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in children aged 8 weeks to 5 years.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement play-based learning activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in young children
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and other teachers
  • Communicate effectively with children and parents to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes trust and respect among children and families
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma
  • Availability to work a minimum of three days a week within the hours of 3-6 p.m., Monday-Friday, required
  • A passion for working with children aged 8 weeks to 5 years required
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds required
  • Eligibility to work in the United States is required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship
