We are seeking a Senior Sociocultural Anthropologist to join our distinguished faculty as part of the Programs in Anthropology at Teachers College, Columbia University.

Responsibilities- Maintain a robust research program that showcases innovative approaches to sociocultural anthropology
- Teach graduate-level courses in public culture, ethnographic research methods, and beyond, fostering the next generation of leaders in the field
- Develop and implement new courses that enhance our programs and expand our reach
- Advise master's and doctoral students, providing mentorship and guidance to support their academic and professional growth
- Doctorate in anthropology (including anthropology and education or applied anthropology) preferred
- A strong professional history of research, publication, teaching, and service commensurate with tenure in a distinguished faculty position
- Candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to working with women and racially minoritized students are encouraged to apply
The salary range for this position is $126,850 - $186,809, commensurate with experience.
