  • Order or execute tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient condition
  • Analyze reports and findings of tests and examination, and diagnose patient condition
  • Administer or prescribe treatments and medications
  • Promote health by advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of diseases
  • Determine need for modified diet and physical activities, and recommend plan
  • Inoculate and vaccinate patients to immunize them from communicable diseases
  • Perform surgical procedures commensurate with surgical competency
  • Refer patients to other medical specialists for consultant services when necessary for patients' well-being
  • Oversee, review, supervise, and act in preceptor role to family practice residents
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
  • Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine
