We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Exercise Specialist II to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a key member of our Cardiac Rehabilitation department, you will play a vital role in providing exercise programs and services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement exercise programs based on client needs and goals
- Provide direction and supervision to clients during exercise sessions
- Meet the educational needs of clients and the community through fitness classes and workshops
- Maintain a safe and organized exercise environment
- Contribute to the development of staff and students through training and mentorship
- Assist with program development and enhancement
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in a fitness-related position
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire date
- Preferred: Master's degree, 5 years of clinical experience, and certifications such as CSCS or MES
