Responsibilities- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with other employees to complete assignments and achieve team goals.
- Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules to maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Take direction and respond to supervision in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional and respectful manner.
- Fulfill staff shortages in custodial, recycle, or maintenance roles as needed.
- Support shift lead in completing punch-list items and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Use proper personal protective equipment required for assigned tasks to ensure safety and well-being.
- Present a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Understand and demonstrate customer service and satisfaction principles.
- Understand and utilize reporting systems and environmental awareness.
- Operate motorized cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors, including tile, carpet, and brick flooring.
- Complete work assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilize appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure to ensure safety and effectiveness.
- Use and maintain equipment properly to ensure longevity and efficiency.
- Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Always observe safety precautions, including using safety signs such as "wet floor".
- Ability to work without normal supervision and take initiative to complete tasks.
- Report safety hazards as appropriate to ensure a safe working environment.
- Experience in the janitorial industry required, with floor/carpet care expertise preferred.
- A drug test will be required, and 3+ years of experience is preferred. Must pass SBM Background checks, along with Pre-employment Drug screening & E-Verify.
- Floor Care experience and using machinery are required. A valid Driver's License is also required.
- General Knowledge of Care Floor and Scrubbing Techniques is necessary.
$ per hour. The shift is Wednesday - Saturday, 10:00AM - 8:30PM and Wednesday - Saturday, 8:00PM - 6:30AM.
