About the Role:

  • As an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, ensuring that patients receive maximum care and comfort.
  • Key responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of work schedules, supervising nursing personnel, and coordinating with physicians to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • You will also serve as a liaison between staff nurses and nurse management, fostering open communication and collaboration throughout the facility.

Requirements:

  • A current and valid RN license in North Carolina is essential for this position.
  • Two years of experience in skilled nursing, preferably in geriatric care, is preferred, but not required.
  • You must be willing to participate in on-call rotations and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • Able to make informed decisions regarding nursing and unit problems, supervise nursing staff, and adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform multiple tasks under pressure are necessary for success in this role.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
