Key Responsibilities:
The Production Assembler/Finisher role involves critical assembly line tasks associated with various product lines, including Truck bodies and Specialty Vehicles. Responsibilities include:
- Assembly or installation of diverse truck body components
- Utilizing hand, air, and power tools with mechanical proficiency
- Exhibiting meticulous attention to detail in all tasks
- Collaborating as a team member, with the ability to learn and rotate through different workstations
- Meeting quality, quantity, performance, and safety standards consistently
- Gathering necessary supplies and parts for assembly tasks
- Supporting colleagues during non-assembly periods
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area
- Contributing to 5S initiatives
- Assisting in the application of Lean Principles
Qualifications for Success:
To thrive in this role, candidates should possess:
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of 12 months of manufacturing experience, preferably in the Automotive, RV, or Boat sectors
- A valid driver's license
- Consistent attendance record
- Physical capability to use ladders, enter and exit vehicles, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience with air and electric-powered tools, including drills and hammers
- Ability to read and comprehend work orders, directions, and safety regulations
- Proficiency in using and interpreting various gauges
- Strong teamwork skills
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16 of an inch
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
