TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc. is actively seeking a licensed structural engineer to lead structural initiatives across various markets. The projects will encompass commercial office spaces, multi-story residential complexes, storage facilities, public sector structures, and other similar constructions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee the design of diverse building structures utilizing materials such as concrete, steel, masonry, and wood for medium- and high-rise construction.
- Manage construction administration tasks, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and conducting site inspections.
- Provide structural design expertise and knowledge for project evaluations and peer reviews.
- Steer projects from initial scope definition through to construction completion, collaborating with clients and various design disciplines.
- Assign project tasks to international engineering teams and work collaboratively to achieve project deadlines.
- Collaborate with engineers within the Florida Structural Group to share insights and balance workloads across different offices.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers, sharing technical and professional expertise.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; a Master's degree with a focus on structures is preferred.
- Possession of a Florida P.E. license.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing multi-story structures within structural consulting firms.
- Proven experience in managing projects and client relationships.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in collaborative team environments.
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as ETABS, RISA, SAFE, STAAD, RAM SS, ADAPT, and EnerCalc.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit drafting is advantageous.
