School-Based Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Fort Collins, Colorado. This role involves providing essential occupational therapy services to students within a school setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess student needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs tailored to each student's unique requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure a holistic approach to supporting students' functional and educational goals.
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions to promote student development and progress.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all services provided in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights and recommendations for setting educational goals.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an OT.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
