Job Summary

Northern Impact is seeking a highly skilled and fashion-forward Fashion Merchandiser to join our team. As a key member of our retail store, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, recommending fashionable items, and creating complete looks that excite our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Maximize Sales and Customer Satisfaction
  • Provide personalized service to customers, offering fashion advice and styling expertise to create a seamless shopping experience.
  • Utilize product knowledge to recommend items that meet customers' needs and preferences.
• Drive Sales and Revenue Growth
  • Meet or exceed personal sales targets and contribute to the store's overall sales goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on current fashion trends, product knowledge, and sales strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
• Build Strong Relationships with Customers
  • Develop and maintain a loyal customer base through exceptional service, personalized attention, and a deep understanding of customers' needs and preferences.
  • Utilize customer feedback to improve sales strategies and enhance the overall shopping experience.
• Maintain a High-Performing Store Environment
  • Ensure a visually appealing store environment, maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and store maintenance.
  • Assist with store operations, including receiving new merchandise, processing stock transfers, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
• Communicate Effectively
  • Share feedback with management and contribute to daily business recaps to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements

• Experience in Retail Sales
  • Proven track record in retail sales, preferably in women's upper contemporary, multi-label, or luxury designer environments.
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
• Passion for Fashion and Styling
  • Deep passion for fashion, styling, and outfitting, with a keen eye for current trends and a commitment to staying up-to-date on industry developments.
• Flexibility and Adaptability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (20 pounds or more) from time to time as required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly Salary and Commission
  • Competitive hourly salary, plus store commission and personal commission on sales.
