PRIMARY CARE / COMMUNITY HEALTH / RADIOLOGIC TECH / RADIOLOGYPosition Overview: The role entails conducting a variety of standard radiology examinations within the Radiology Department. Key responsibilities include ensuring quality control, implementing preventive maintenance protocols, and adhering to safety standards. The technician will operate independently or under the supervision of a Physician or designated supervisor.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years
- Completion of a State-approved Radiologic Technologist training program
- Registration as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of New Mexico
- First Aid and BLS/CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment
Successful completion of initial post-offer employment assessments and immunizations:
- Testing and immunizations including TB, Hepatitis B, Tdap, MMR, Varicella, and Influenza vaccines
