Registered Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Aspen Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our residents and patients.

• Collaborate with the food services team to develop and implement departmental procedures that ensure high-quality food service activities, equipment, and supplies.
• Conduct thorough reviews of food service deficiencies and develop plans of correction, submitting written reports to the Administrator for approval.
• Maintain a robust quality assurance program for the Food Services Department, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Review and implement dietary requirements and restrictions for admitted patients, in accordance with attending physician's diet plans.
• Assist the Discharge Planning Coordinator in planning the food services portion of the resident's discharge plan.
• Develop and implement diet plans for individual residents, including regular and specialized diets as prescribed by attending physicians.

• Active current registered Dietitian required
• 2 years of clinical experience preferred
• Expertise in clinical nutrition, preferably geriatric rehab care practices in a skilled nursing setting
• Possess knowledge of all applicable local, state and federal regulatory statues and guidelines pertaining to healthcare in the skilled nursing setting
