Job Overview

The Moxy Management Company is seeking a highly skilled Leasing Agent to join our team in Elgin, IL. As a key member of our property management staff, you will be responsible for advertising open spaces, providing tours, processing applications, and completing lease signings.

About the Role

This sales-oriented position requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. If we are at full occupancy, you will promote the building itself, encouraging future tenants to join our waitlist or consider our other properties.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by offering comprehensive property tours to prospective tenants.
  • Develop and implement effective promotional strategies to attract new residents.
  • Advertise available spaces through our software and other marketing channels.
  • Process applications thoroughly, ensuring applicants meet our community standards.
  • Complete lease signing processes for both new and current residents.
  • Perform general office duties, including answering phones and maintaining a professional atmosphere.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven sales or marketing skills, with a track record of success.
  • Experience with property management software, such as AppFolio, is a plus.
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Fluent bilingual communication skills (English and Spanish).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Pass a thorough background check.
