Café Associate

Job Summary

As a Caf Associate at Sam's Club, you will play a vital role in preparing fresh food items daily for our members. Your responsibilities will include following recipes, preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken, and ensuring our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. You will also be responsible for properly wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise, as well as maintaining a clean and sanitized environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh food items daily, following recipes and ensuring high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized environment, including sweeping, cleaning shelves, and verifying expiration dates.
• Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food, maintaining temperature control and ensuring food safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow, communicating effectively with team members and members of the club.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience preferred, with a Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) certification a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive attitude.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move around the store as needed.
