Nova Biomedical is seeking a Glass Sensor Production Technician for our First Shift. This role is essential in the manufacturing of various glass components utilized in both core and OEM analyzers. The Glass Sensor Production Technician will operate under general supervision, executing routine assembly tasks with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be committed to producing high-quality assemblies while adhering to production timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize various adhesives, solvents, and chemicals as necessary during the assembly process.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the assembly stages to ensure optimal product yields.
- Set up and operate a range of production machinery, including auto testers, automatic dispensing systems, auto polishers, laser coders, glass grinders, lathes, and soldering equipment.
- Interpret assembly instructions, technical drawings, verbal directives, and relevant process documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong mathematical and communication abilities.
- Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Physical Requirements:
- Frequent use of arms, wrists, and hands while operating equipment and computers.
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory, which may include safety glasses, lab coats, gloves, and ESD straps.
- Good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity are essential, with some tasks requiring microscope usage.
Education and Experience:
- High School or Trade School diploma.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
