The Glass Sensor Production Technician will operate under general supervision, executing routine assembly tasks with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be committed to producing high-quality assemblies while adhering to production timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize various adhesives, solvents, and chemicals as necessary during the assembly process.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the assembly stages to ensure optimal product yields.
  • Set up and operate a range of production machinery, including auto testers, automatic dispensing systems, auto polishers, laser coders, glass grinders, lathes, and soldering equipment.
  • Interpret assembly instructions, technical drawings, verbal directives, and relevant process documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong mathematical and communication abilities.
  • Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Frequent use of arms, wrists, and hands while operating equipment and computers.
    • Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory, which may include safety glasses, lab coats, gloves, and ESD straps.
    • Good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity are essential, with some tasks requiring microscope usage.

Education and Experience:

  • High School or Trade School diploma.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
