Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise and materials.
  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory and tracking the movement of merchandise and materials within the warehouse.
  • Inspecting product for quality, freshness, damage, proper size, and expiration code date or sell by dates.
  • Verifying shipment accuracy against purchase orders and making appropriate adjustments if necessary (i.e., over/short, damaged product, change in size).
  • Notifying department manager of discrepancies.
  • Rotating product properly by confirming expiration dates.
  • Loading trucks for delivery of product to the main warehouse dock.
