About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nurse Aide to join our team at Abode Hospice and Home Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed
  • Take and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
  • Assist with ambulation and exercise, as instructed
  • Support patients with self-administration of medication
  • Ensure patient safety and use equipment safely and properly
  • Assess and report on patient condition and significant changes to the assigned nurse
  • Keep patient living areas clean and orderly
  • Comply with all state and federal regulations and guidelines
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Completion of Certified Nurse Aide/State Tested Nurse Aide training and current licensure to practice in the state of operation
  • 1 year of CNA/STNA experience required
  • Experience in home health or a similar setting preferred
  • Self-directing with ability to work with little direct supervision
  • Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence
