Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Ambler. This role will provide support to licensed Speech Language Pathologists in conducting screenings and assessments, implementing therapy activities, and enhancing speech, language, voice, and fluency skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with licensed Speech Language Pathologists to conduct comprehensive screenings and assessments to identify communication disorders.
  • Implement therapy activities and interventions under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist, focusing on individualized treatment plans to meet students' needs.
  • Support students in developing and refining their speech, language, voice, and fluency skills through various therapies and activities.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans, ensuring accurate documentation of student progress and effective communication with the supervising SLP, teachers, parents, and other team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
  • Completion of a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant program.
  • State certification or licensure as required by regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow guidance from licensed professionals.
