Job Summary:

The LVN will be responsible for performing patient care assessments, preparing patients for examination, and providing basic patient care and treatments. You will also be responsible for observing patient conditions, documenting and reporting any changes to the provider, and serving as a patient advocate.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform initial nursing intake and prepare patients for examination
  • Prepare medical charts and records patient information
  • Provide basic patient care and treatments, such as taking vitals, performing diagnostic tests, phlebotomy, and specimen collection
  • Observe patient conditions, document, and report any changes to the provider
  • Serve as a patient advocate and utilize appropriate resources to support patient care
Qualifications:
  • Current and valid California LVN License required
  • BLS from the American Heart Association and/or the American Red Cross required
  • IV/Phlebotomy Certified must obtain within one year of hire date
  • 1+ years of LVN experience in an outpatient setting preferred
