Job Summary

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia, PC is seeking a skilled Registered/Certified Echo Technician to join our team. As a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality echocardiogram services to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and/or stress echoes under the supervision of physicians and clinical supervisors.
  • Maintain echo lab protocols and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Operate machinery and prepare preliminary echo updates in the electronic medical record (EMR) for the presence or absence of any abnormalities in the studies.
  • Notify physicians in a timely manner of any new significant abnormal findings noted during the test.
  • Perform daily, monthly, and annual care and maintenance of ultrasound equipment, and troubleshoot any potential problems.
  • Ensure open communication with other staff members by checking email daily.
  • Respect patients' right to privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Registered/Certified Echo Technician.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience.
  • Must have the ability to multitask.
  • Computer knowledge is essential.
  • Experience with an EMR system is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Upon successful completion of the probationary period, you will be eligible for a $2,500.00 sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign-on bonus.
