Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at Children's National Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of CT scans, including pediatric and adult patients, with a focus on providing excellent patient care and ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CT scanning protocols, radiation safety, and image quality to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction, image quality, and departmental efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CT technology and imaging techniques to provide the best possible care for our patients.
Requirements
  • Registered Radiography Technologist (ARRT) certification
  • R.T. (R) (CT) (ARRT) certification
  • 1 year of clinical CT imaging experience in a hospital or outpatient environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field
  • Experience with pediatric imaging protocols
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and image quality principles
