About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Business Analyst to join our team at the State Accounting Office (SAO). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing customer business needs and participating in the planning, design, and implementation of new or enhanced systems that serve multiple state entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements to determine the nature and extent of customer needs and concerns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business processes are effective and efficient.
  • Develop and implement solutions to address business needs, regulatory requirements, or other functional or legislative requirements.
  • Test and validate system configurations to ensure alignment with requirements.
  • Assist in the development of training materials and deliver training as assigned.
  • Consult with technical and business staff to ensure that functionality is consistent with adherence to laws, regulations, and best practice standards.
