Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the operation of CT scanners and other diagnostic equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Position patients for imaging procedures, taking into account their comfort and safety.
  • Administer contrast media and other medications as required, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the radiologist or other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results.
Requirements
  • Current ARRT certification and licensure with the Texas Medical Board.
  • Graduate of an accredited program for technologists (ARRT).
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a hospital imaging department, with one (1) year of experience in CT preferred.
